Certified in 2.5 weeks, and a $10 million a year, five year contract secured

Sajo Group needed ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification to support a tender due in days. RLM built the system, passed both audits with zero findings and submitted the winning tender, all in parallel.

Client overview

Sajo Group is a facilities, security management and building management company focused on delivering high quality operational support for its clients across multiple sectors. With a strong emphasis on technology, accountability and customer focused service, Sajo ensures every aspect of facility operations is managed efficiently and to a high standard.

The challenge

Sajo Group required urgent ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification to support a critical tender submission due on 20 June 2025.

  • The timeline was tight and the expectations were high
  • Any delay meant potential exclusion from a significant opportunity
  • This was not about obtaining certificates. It was about becoming audit ready, tender ready and operationally aligned, fast

“We need ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, and the tender deadline is in days.”

RLM’s answer: “Let’s build a system, get you ISO certified and submit that tender quickly.” Multiple RLM teams were deployed to work in parallel.

The solution

Five steps, three teams, one deadline.

1

Rapid system build

Within 6 days the RLM team designed and delivered a fully developed and consulted Integrated Management System tailored to Sajo’s operations: context and risk mapping, ISO aligned architecture, policies, procedures, compliance registers, operational forms, evidence frameworks and governance alignment.

2

Stage 1 audit

The new system went through its Stage 1 certification audit with 0 non-conformances and 0 opportunities for improvement, a rare outcome and strong validation of the system’s quality.

3

Parallel execution

Three teams worked at once: system development, operational implementation embedding procedures into live operations, and tender alignment so the ISO system, compliance documentation and procurement requirements matched.

4

Stage 2 audit and certification

ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety certification achieved.

5

Tender submission

Tender identification and review, strategy, information gathering, technical methodology, commercial and pricing development, compliance and governance review, supporting documentation, quality assurance and portal upload.
